About Us

Welcome to the HAVS website.

As a key strategic Voluntary sector organisation we are here to help represent your views to our statutory partners, particularly Harrow Council and Harrow PCT.

We have over 220 voluntary and community groups which are affiliated members, all of whom work in some way for the benefit of Harrow’s community.

Our experienced staff team can help your groups with issues such as setting up, where to find funding sources, how to ensure your relevant people are police checked and we can also help you publicise your work to the sector.  We have a monthly mailout which you can use (sometimes  small charge is levied towards postage) or you can use our new updated website.

We can also help you save money when advertising vacancies! HAVS, in partnership with JobsGoPublic have created a website for Voluntary & Community Organisation in Harrow to advertise Job Vacancies. To find out more visit the website: http://powered.jobsgopublic.com/hvcsc
