Access Audits
Harrow Association of Disabled People are able to provide full Access Audits with comprehensive reports, conducted by a qualified Access Auditor. We can also provide smaller Access Audits with less detailed recommendations. Costs vary depending on report required, and feedback meetings required.

Training
Harrow Association of Disabled People (HAD) offfer a range of training which can be used to improve the practice of any organisation regarding equality for disabled people using and working in services. Costs for partner organizations.
Courses include:
Disability Equality From £375 per day
Disability Equality for Managers From £375 per day
Deaf Awareness £100 per session (currently free to organizations which provide services to individuals)
Basic British Sign Language £400 per 10 week session for group of 10 people
We can also do bespoke courses to meet the specific needs of organizations, and training can be held at HAD’ s office or at other appropriate premises.

Co-ordinator is a barrister, the tutor has an LLM in entertainment law, and MAs in Music Business Management, and Media, and has experience of lecturing from post graduate level at universities to grassroot level. BTWSC is an approved provider of OCN Oxford Thames & Chiltern Ltd.
BTWSC has run courses for Connexions, Living & Learning Grants, Awards For All, The Scarman Trust, Fast Forward Grants, and Community Grants. Accredited courses include; Event Planning, Music Industry (copyright, contract, income streams, publishing), and African History Overview courses.

Harrow Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) offers free welfare rights training to staff and volunteers in community groups and organisations in the borough - to arrange training or discuss your requirements please email welfarerights@harrowhac,org.uk in the first instance. British Sign Language and Communication services for Deaf people
Harrow Association of Disabled Peopleprovides a range of communication support via webcam or face to face for Deaf people. Signers and communicators are available to meet all levels of need, and costs vary depending on booking requirements, including length of time and level of ability of signer required. Most bookings are for 3 hr minimums, however in some circumstances, smaller amounts of time can be negotiated.

HAVS have a meeting room available for hire. Capacity of 25 boardroom style. It is accessible to wheelchairs and there is an accessible toilet. A small kitchen is also available, suitable for making hot drinks.
