Harrow Centre for Human Rights and Equalities

Harrow Council for Racial Equality (HCRE) is now dissolved and from 1st April 2009 has been managed by Harrow Association of Voluntary Service for an interim period. There is a transition board set up by Harrow Council, which will look at the future structure of a successor organisation to HCRE.

HCRE is an independent voluntary organisation which is jointly funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the London Borough of Harrow.

We aim to offer a free confidential and independent advice service on discrimination in Harrow. We strive to provide and develop a high quality advice service irrespective of race, creed, ability or sexual orientation within the multi-cultural population of Harrow. We work to prevent discrimination and combat those influences, which seek to exclude people from full participation in the life of the borough.
