Harrow Chief Executives
The Chief Executive’s Group consists of the Chief Executives of Harrow Council, Harrow Primary Care Trust, Harrow in Business, Harrow Association of Voluntary Service and the Borough Commander. This group has been meeting every six weeks since the beginning of 2009 and replaces the Harrow Strategic Partnership Executive.
The CEG has several main themes that it is looking at strategically. These include improving community cohesion and trying to reduce the effects of the recession in Harrow. The Group aims to work in partnership to try to help solve some of these issues in our community.
One early success of the CEG is the Joint Analytical Group also known as JAG officers from the Police, the PCT and Harrow Council have worked together to identify specific issues. At present the group is looking at the impact of the recession on the Community and whether its help needs to be targeted at specific locations.
The CEG also hears regularly about progress on the Corporate Area Assessment, the Local Area Agreement indicators and development on the Third Sector Strategy.
