Membership

HAVS currently has a membership of around 220 affiliated organisations. These are voluntary and community sector organisations based in and working for the benefit of Harrow residents.

It is easy to become a member of Harrow Association of Voluntary Services. Membership costs £10 per annum and entitles you to a range of benefits including:

• Regular mail outs
• Invitations to training and information events
• Reduced hire fees for our meeting rooms
• Fund raising advice
• Small Groups development advice
• Reduced fees for CRB checks
• Discounted rates

The organisation needs to be working for the benefit of Harrow's community and you would need to fill in an Affiliation form. These can be obtained by calling Olga on 020 8863 6707. The Trustees will consider each application for affiliation at their quarterly meeting and you will be informed accordingly of their decision.

Advice and Information

HAVS has a number of staff who can offer you advice and information. You may want to know about starting a new group or charity, need advice about your constitution, information or advice about funding and premises etc. Free advice is available to all organisations who are affiliated to HAVS. Please look at the list of services to see which member of staff would be most able to help you. Alternatively, you can call the office to discuss your needs and someone will put you in touch with the most appropriate member of staff.
