Direct Support - Job Vacancy

Harrow Association of Disabled people (HAD) are looking for a very reliable person with good interpersonal skills, who will work to our aims to create a fully inclusive society where disabled people enjoy equality of opportunity as a right, not a privilege.

Support Broker - Direct Payments Support Scheme
Annual Salary: £22,774 per year
35 hrs per week post (with potential continuation)

You will need to demonstrate good understanding of health and social care in relation to independent living, and be able to work creatively with people to help them plan, manage and maintain the way they use the funding they receive for their support.   You need to be able to advocate in an empowering way in the way you work with people, and to learn all aspects related to the role.
