A Call For Volunteer Flu Friends

As you may be aware, the Department of Health has today launched its National Pandemic Flu Service, including a website and flue line.  Once this line is operational, NHS Harrow expects that the number of people who are prescribed Tamiflu will significantly increase.  If people are prescribed Tamiflu, they need a flu friend to go to the distribution centre on their behalf and collect the prescription.

There will be people who for various reasons will not have a person who can be their friend and we need volunteers who have a current valid CRB check who can act as flu friends for people in this position.
