Personal Development programme for 13-25's

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR 13 – 25s

Fairbridge is a personal development organisation working with young people who are not in education, training or employment or are at risk of being excluded or disengaging.

A young person’s journey through Fairbridge consists of an Access course, the programme and moving on.  The one week Access Course includes team building activities, outdoor activities and a 1 or 2 night camping trip.  This enables them to gain new skills and come out of their comfort zone as well as begin to work on their personal development and gain an understanding of the way we work.  During the second stage of Fairbridge, the Programme, young people are assigned a dedicated key worker who supports them to set and review goals as well as sign them up to sessions. Typical sessions can include cooking, sports, drama, art, outdoor activities, and employability skills.  There is also a chance to work towards an ASDAN award, literacy, numeracy qualifications and other low level accreditations such as Community Sports Leadership Award, First Aid and Level 1 Health & Safety. Finally, Fairbridge supports young people to move on, back into education, training or employment.

We are currently able to offer funded places in a number of boroughs including Harrow.

These places are limited, and the usual cost for the above is £1000 per place.

We also have courses for 16 – 25 year olds.  For more information please see our website www.fairbridge.org.uk/london or contact:
