Job Vacancy - Schools Mentoring Officer
The School Mentoring officer will work to help prevent exclusions from Harrow Schools for pupils from all backgrounds.
The post will involve working directly with pupils, parents and statutory and voluntary agencies to provide a coherent and individual response to the needs of these children. The post will focus on the provision of a mentoring service for pupils from minority ethnic and refugee communities at risk of exclusion including their representation at any exclusion appeal panel.
The successful candidate will require two years experience of working with vulnerable young people in a similar setting.
The position is based at Harrow Civic Centre in Harrow.
SALARY: £6,240 p.a. (pro-rata)
HOURS: 10 hours per week
