Job vacancy - Temporary Befriending Outings Group Worker
Are you friendly, enthusiastic and interested in working with small groups and individuals?
Do you have two years’ experience of working in mental health or with another care group?
We are seeking someone to organise and accompany people with long-term mental health problems on fortnightly outings and trips, as part of our befriending scheme.
It is preferred that the group is run on the same as presently, Mondays, but this is negotiable.
This post will be temporary cover for the current postholder who will be running a pilot with another project from January 2010.
Fixed-term 15 months’ Contract
7 hours per week
Scale Point 26, £23,970 pa pro rata Including Outer London Weighting (Actual £400 per month) Plus 7.5% Pension
