West London Network steering group representative needed

West London Network (WLN) is the representative body for the voluntary & community sector in West London and provides strategic support to organisations working in the six boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon & Hounslow.

It works with the six borough-based Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) and other VCS infrastructure organisations in the sub-region, utilising existing resources to lead, develop and manage projects and services which tackle social and economic exclusion and increase access to mainstream funding.

West London Network has a vision of a strong, accountable and vibrant voluntary and community sector which is supported, sustainable and has a positive impact, enhancing the lives of those who live, work, learn and play in West London.

WLN Steering Group

The Network Development Manager for WLN reports to a steering group of voluntary & community sector organisations made up as follows:

6 x Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS)

6 x Local Borough representatives

6 x Cross Borough / Sub-regional representatives

The Steering Group meets four times a year and oversees the work of the Network.  We aim to be as representative of the sector as possible and have recently identified the following gap on our steering group; Harrow representative.

If this is an area you work in and you are interested in helping to influence the future direction & development of the sector not only within West London but both regionally & nationally then we would like to hear from you.
