Self-Starting Voluntary and Community Sector Funding Officer Wanted in Harrow
This is a full time post initially for two years working 35 hours a week. The salary will be £27995 per annum.
You will be a self-starter and have demonstrable success in bid writing, with experience of building effective relationships with voluntary and community organisations and other key local partners.
This post is funded jointly by Harrow Council and Harrow Association of Voluntary Service (HAVS). The successful candidate will work to support voluntary and community organisations in Harrow access and bid successfully for external funding. It will also support voluntary and community sector organisations in Harrow to build their capacity to bid for and deliver public services.
The post holder will work closely with the Council’s Corporate Funding Manager and CVS Director. You will maintain an external funding database for the Sector and be up-to-date with external funding developments affecting the Sector.
