This a new service being offered by HAVS to assist trustees to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence in order to strengthen their boards and organisations.
Are you a voluntary or community group that is?
- affiliated to HAVS and using the services of the small groups advisor, Volunteer Centre or funding workshops
- wanting to create a strategic plan or best practice framework
- wanting to get quality assurance accreditation
The areas that I can assist trustees with are; roles and responsibilities of trustees carrying out skills audits organisation health checks how to carry out effective meetings leadership skills for Chair’s trustee recruitment.
Training is FREE and can be provided either at HAVS or in-house at your convenience.
